'well, at the end of the day, i get to marry nathan - and that's what matters.'
- said megan, in a heartfelt manner, as she watched the rain pour down on her outdoor ceremony setup. chairs were quickly moved to a plan b in-tent arrangement in a matter of minutes. wind whipped around previously assembled decorations. they could have panicked + been wildly upset. no one would have blamed them. but in the midst of it all they remained calm, optimistic + excited. their day was going to be perfect whether or not the weather would cooperate because love doesn't require perfect conditions. it just requires two people saying l love you, let's do this together.
and that's what it's all about, isn't it though?
sometimes it's easy to forget and get caught up in all the details that seem to swallow up weddings.
but at the end of the day, it was about these two kind souls saying i do to life together in front of the people they love - who love them most.
and i for one, was so glad to be part of that.
congrats, you two.
